Mission
teencenterTo ensure that all youth receive medically accurate and appropriate sexual health education and information so they will be able to make healthy decisions about their future. To provide youth development opportunities that build skills, knowledge and personal attributes to prepare all youth to become healthy, educated, employable and connected to their community.

Goals

  • Reduce the incidence of teen pregnancy
  • Reduce the incidence of repeat pregnancies
  • Reduce sexually transmitted infections (STIs) & HIV among teens
  • Increase knowledge among teens and parents about the consequences of unprotected sex

  • School/Community Presentations – Programs can be designed to meet the specific needs of the requesting school or agency.
  • Parent Education workshops on how to talk with teens about sex, relationships and other health issues.

  • Birth Control and Birth Control Counseling
  • Abstinence Counseling
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) and HIV Testing
  • STI Treatment
  • Pregnancy Testing
  • Hepatitis B Vaccines
  • Gardasil (HPV) Vaccines
  • Yearly Physical Exams
  • Pap Smears (age 21 and older)

* Teens are able to receive family planning services without parental permission. All services are confidential and privacy is protected under the Reproductive Health Rights Federal Mandate. All services are confidential. Medicaid coverage accepted or private pay fees.
