Camp ALPHA

Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation is partnering with the Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health to host its first Camp A.L.P.H.A. (Awareness, Leadership, Preparedness, and Health Ambassadors). This camp will educate pre-teens from ages 8 - 12 on leadership, safety, and wellness. Campers will have the opportunity to interact with several community partners, including law enforcement, fire, emergency services, and learn skills to promote health, safety, and wellbeing in their communities. Campers will receive a certificate, a fully equipped Camp A.L.P.H.A. safety pack, and t-shirt on the final day during an award ceremony. Daily snacks and drinks are included. Campers should dress in comfortable active wear and shoes daily. All camp activities are led by experienced RFPRA and DPH staff.
